Last week I was invited to go berry-picking with my man-friend. In his parents front yard. Yes I think they may be the only people on their street that have a small (actually rather large) garden growing in front of their house. Right now it’s just berries. We decided to take advantage of the long summer light and pick as many as possible. The next day we ran/walked miles, jumped into the lake and returned home to make the berries into jam. It was quite the adventure. Everything looks good and now we have 10 jars of both black raspberry and red raspberry jam. I could not get over the colors. If I had more time I would have tried to die my clothing these beautiful colors. They reminded me of a yummy candy I got in italy.
